IMPORTANT UPDATE: DISCONTINUED CATEGORIES
We would like to inform all participants that the following categories have been discontinued for the SheDesigns by WADE National Competition 2026:
- Hospitality Architecture
- Commercial Architecture
- Healthy & Safe Interiors
- Best Use of Lighting in Interiors
- Painting – Young & Excellence
- Photography – Professional
CATEGORIES DISCONTINUED DUE TO INSUFFICIENT ENTRIES
The categories Hospitality Architecture, Commercial Architecture, Healthy & Safe Interiors, Best Use of Lighting in Interiors, and Photography – Professional have been discontinued this year due to insufficient entries.
A fair and meaningful jury process requires an adequate number of eligible submissions for evaluation and comparison. As these categories did not meet the required participation threshold, they could not be taken forward for judging.
We sincerely thank all participants who submitted entries and appreciate their understanding.
PAINTING – YOUNG & EXCELLENCE
The Painting – Young & Excellence category has been discontinued this year due to logistical challenges associated with the four-day exhibition format, particularly for artists travelling from outstation locations.
We will explore more practical and accessible formats for the coming year to ensure a seamless exhibition experience for all participating artists.

We thank all participants for their enthusiasm, creativity, and trust in SheDesigns by WADE National Competition 2026.
The decision to discontinue these categories has been taken with the aim of maintaining a fair, credible, and meaningful evaluation process, while also ensuring that the overall competition and exhibition experience meets the standards expected by our participants and Jury.
We look forward to welcoming you across the continuing categories and celebrating the exceptional design talent and creative work being presented this year.
