The Artist Painting Category recognizes Indian women artists who express creativity, emotion, and originality through painting. This platform celebrates artistic excellence, innovation in technique, and the power of visual storytelling.

• Painting – Young: Open to women artists up to 40 years of age as on 1st August 2026.
• Painting – Excellence: Open to women artists of all ages (no age limit).
• Participation: Free of charge.
• Application Mode: All entries must be submitted digitally through the official WADE Application Form.
• Multiple Categories:
  • You may apply for more than one category.
  • For each category, fill a separate Application Form.

• Number of Artworks: Submit any 3 Artworks from your portfolio.

• Each entry file must include the following (clearly mentioned):
  • Title of the Artwork
  • Description – within 150 words
  • Medium, Size, and Year of the Artwork
• Entry files must be free from any superimposed name, signature, or watermark.
• All artworks must be available in original for exhibition during the event.
• Artworks that have already won a WADE Award cannot be resubmitted.
• Refer to the sample artwork provided at the end of the page for clarity.

• To ensure unbiased evaluation:
  🚫 Do NOT mention your name or any identifiable detail on the entry files. Entries violating this anonymity rule will be disqualified immediately.

1. Fill out the THE WADE ASIA Application Form
2. Upload the following:
   • Three (3) entry files in PDF format: Each file should include all required information and the artwork to be submitted for the competition in a single document. (Maximum file size 6 MB per file).
   • Your Photograph: A clear, recent portrait photograph in JPG or PNG format (maximum file size 2 MB).
3. Upon successful submission, a USER ID will be sent to your registered email. Please save this USER ID for all future communication.

Before you begin filling out the Application form, prepare your entry files and your photograph as per the specified file size and format requirements. This will make the submission process quicker, smoother, and error-free.

• Selection and finalization of any category for the competition will be at the discretion of the organizers, based on the quantity and quality of submissions.
• Finalists will be required to attend the Final LIVE Jury Presentation Round in New Delhi. (Details and schedule will be communicated to all the finalists.)
