Founded in 2016 by Ms. Verticaa Dvivedi and Ms. Maddhu Chowdhury, THE WADE ASIA began with a singular vision — to bridge the gap between women in design and the larger architectural fraternity. What began as a purposeful initiative has, over a decade, become a national stage for recognition, knowledge exchange, collaboration, and business discovery—all under one vibrant roof.
THE WADE ASIA goes beyond celebrating design. It’s about the stories behind the spaces. The courage to challenge norms and create meaningful change. Over the past 10 years, WADE has:
- Recognized over 1,000 women through awards and features
- Hosted 100+ live talks, design dialogues, and networking events
- Built a pan-India community of Architects and Designers
- Encouraged students and emerging voices to step forward and shine
