This category is open exclusively to photography enthusiasts, hobbyists, and emerging photographers who pursue photography out of passion and not as a full-time profession. Mobile clicks are accepted in this category.

Photography – Professional Category

This category is open to professional photographers who practice photography as a full-time or part-time profession, including those who undertake commercial or editorial photography assignments. Only professional camera clicks are accepted in this category.

Important Note: Participants must apply in only one category. Applicants submitting under the Photography Amateur category are not permitted to apply in the Photography Professional category, and vice versa. If this rule is not followed, the entire submission will be cancelled.

• Participation: Free of charge.

Application Mode: All entries must be submitted digitally through the official WADE Application Form.

Multiple Submissions

• After selecting the appropriate category, participants may submit entries for both themes.
• A maximum of three (3) entries may be submitted per theme.
• For each theme, fill a separate Application Form.
• Please note: A separate Application Form must be filled for each entry. Multiple entries cannot be submitted using a single form.

• Number of Photograph: Choose the theme that best suits your work and submit one (1) photograph corresponding to that theme.

• The entry file must include the following (clearly mentioned):
  • Title of the Photograph
  • Description of the Photograph (within 150 words)
  • Date, Place, and Camera/Mobile used
• The original photograph must be available for exhibition during the event. Finalists should also bring the unedited version for verification, if requested by the jury.
• Refer to the sample photograph provided at the end of the page for clarity.
• Photographs that have already won a WADE Award cannot be resubmitted.

• To ensure unbiased evaluation:
  🚫 Do NOT mention your name or any identifiable detail on the entry files. Entries violating this anonymity rule will be disqualified immediately.

1. Fill out the THE WADE ASIA Application Form
2. Upload the following:
   • One (1) single entry file in PDF format – Include all required information and photograph to be submitted for the competition in a single file (maximum file size 6 MB).
   • Your Photograph: A clear, recent portrait photograph in JPG or PNG format (maximum file size 2 MB).
3. Upon successful submission, a USER ID will be sent to your registered email. Please save this USER ID for all future communication.

Before you begin filling out the Application form, prepare your entry file and your photograph as per the specified file size and format requirements. This will make the submission process quicker, smoother, and error-free.

• Selection and finalization of any category for the competition will be at the discretion of the organizers, based on the quantity and quality of submissions.
• Finalists will be required to attend the Final LIVE Jury Presentation Round in New Delhi. (Details and schedule will be communicated to all the finalists.)
