TCS Campus, Indore
TCS Indore is an IT facility located on the outskirts of the city, on a 100 acre plot along a main arterial road connecting the city to its airport. The facility includes approximately 10,000 IT and BPO seats along with the necessary common facilities like the administration building, cafeterias, training rooms, recruitment center, multi-purpose hall and a business center.
There are a total of 18 main buildings which are grouped around a central plaza that defines the three courses of the river, the upper, the middle and the lower. The upper course rest on a service podium and houses three IT blocks which overlook a Kund that represents the source of the Narmada. These blocks together house approximately 5000 seats. The middle course consists of 8 buildings comprising of 3 IT buildings and shared facilities. The buildings draw inspiration from the Marble Rocks at Jabalpur, their jagged forms reflected in an angle tranquil water body. This creates a quiet seamless environment for employee interaction as well as solitude. The lower course reflects the passive nature of the river before it meets the sea. The buildings here are only G+2 in height and house 3000 BPO seats. The landscape is meandering and formed by gentle undulating mounds.
