oven fresh-Restro Lounge
Being a bakery predominantly, the display and stacking was very important. The display has been designed on one side of the wall, where people, not only visually admire and savour the items, but also pick and choose their choice of edibles. The bakery counter acts as a main focal point, with rich teak wood panels on the walls with shelves in wenge veneer, and is light focused on each eatery. The wooden bins showcase breads and muffins and the service area, along with open kitchen that is transparent.
The tables and chairs are exclusively designed. The colour of the furniture is wenge with upholstery in magenta, pink and brown leather, complimenting the wooden finish of furniture and columns. Table tops are in chocolate brown Corian. The lounge area is enhanced with flowery wallpaper in rich pink colour. The gold black metallic paint on ceiling, cassette air conditioner, and light fittings merges adequately with the atmosphere. The open kitchen has the similar flow of colour and texture for the continuity of space. Italian marble flooring and dado provides expanse to the otherwise narrow bay. Patterns in chocolate colour chips break the monotony and plainness of the marble. Meticulous planning was the touchstone of the design and translating their concept into design is the Restro Lounge.
