Luxury Indeeah redefined
A residential space measuring a floor area of 500 sq.mt
Room after room brings out outstanding architectural design and intricate detail, opulent and functional. The much diminished detail of the CNC cut and bent, sheet brass rafters in the ceiling (which are a facsimile of the exposed wood rafters, a part of every traditional Indian home )have been detailed after careful research. The hand cast, stamped and CNC cut, nickel plated brass wall panels and motorized sliding screen along with the brass fins transform the walls to pieces of art.
Identifying these form of art and indigenous craftsmen to deliver the same was the key. Some of these also included hand cut glass detail from Kolkata, hand cut mirror mosaic from Jaipur, marquetry of semi precious stones from Agra, marquetry of wood from Mysore, silver and champagne foil work from Jaipur, Ikat textile from Gujarat.
Integrating the carefully researched form of Indian craft into the interiors seamlessly, to create the Indian narrative. Then combining the then established flow of material with contemporary pieces and techniques to render the space its individuality was the best part of the design process.
