The client, a start up fashion designer, wanted a boutique to display her work and meet with her clients. Since she was just starting off, she did not want to invest high amounts. She chose one room in her residence that had direct access from the outside to be converted to a boutique. The building is an old lime mortar construction, and the walls and ceiling had problems of water seepage. Even though these were treated before starting the work, The design had to factor in the possibility of similar damages in future considering the age of the building.
