The space being relatively small compared to the overall requirements and being an office for automation products related to the construction and design industry itself and also considering the future developments, the whole concept was evolved with use of glass as the main element. The transparent toughened glasses used all over dissolve the visual barriers & open up spaces. The clear glass partitions are accentuated with bright coloured masses in the form of storage units, display units, coloured pelmets and wooden rafters at various places.
The discussion room at the centre of the office is a floating glass cuboid which is tilted in the layout to form odd shape spaces which add a lot of play and interest to the whole premises. The floor of this glass cuboid is finished with wooden vitrified tiles with recessed cove lighting which gives it a floating effect. The tilted glass cuboid is further enhanced with a plywood deck under the beam finished with red customised vinyl which displays the team building qualities of the organisation.
To add to the inviting feel , the entrance lobby to the office is completely modified into an arch shaped tunnel like structure constructed with plywood framing and finished with flexiply with a layer gypsum board on it pained stark white which adds to the contrasting effect of the artificial lawn floor which is enhanced by keeping artificial plantation and pale lights which work on automation to give a garden lobe ambience while entering this colourful, vibrant, exiting office integrated with intelligent building automation products.
